Former OpTic India player Forsaken explains why he cheated

Former OpTic India Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player Nikhil ‘forsaken’ Kumawat has spoken publicly for the first time on the cheating scandal that rocked the Asian CS:GO community, stating that he now wishes that he had never played the game.
OpTic India were disqualified from the eXTREMESLAND 2018 CS:GO tournament after Kumawat was caught cheating. After being sacked by OpTic, Kumawat deleted his social media accounts and initially refused to speak to anyone about the incident.
However, forsaken has finally ended his silence, speaking about the scandal in public for the first time in an interview with AFK Gaming. He also released a statement.
When asked by AFK Gaming about what he would have done differently, Kumawat responded: “If I could go back, I would probably delete the day I first played Counter-Strike – nothing good has happened to me since the day I first played that game.
“I am extremely sorry to my teammates, OpTic management and the people who always put their trust in me. I feel guilty of stealing away the opportunities from my teammates. Each one was extremely talented and I have jeopardized their chances of being where they deserve.”

Hitman 2 Leaked Before Official Reveal

With the rights to the Hitman series reverting to its developer, IO Interactive, it appears that the developer is planning for a reveal of Hitman 2. A logo for it was found on the site of publisher Warner Bros prior to an official announcement. However IO has requested fans to tune into a live stream on Warner Bros website on June 7 with no mention of Hitman 2 or what it could be. And while it's unknown if Hitman 2 is a straight up sequel to 2016's episode-based Hitman or what IO is referring to as a second season of Hitman content.
2016’s Hitman for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One was an episodic affair that took awhile to find its bearings. But it appears that it did not do well enough for its publisher, Square Enix to continue owning IO Interactive — the studio responsible for it.
Considering that a second season was teased and that it’s transition from a fully-fledged AAA single-player experience to an online-dependent episodic affair was perceived to be successful, this is a strange twist.
But with previous entry Hitman Absolution selling around three million units on Steam (along with shipping 3.6 million in the first few months) and 2016’s Hitman having sold close to 6,30,000 units on Steam, it doesn’t seem to have gotten remotely close to its predecessor. A telling concern, more so when you include Square Enix’s overambitious projections in the past such as that for 2013’s Tomb Raider reboot.

ICC Warns Players That Wearing Smartwatches on the Field Is Prohibited

ICC Warns Players That Wearing Smartwatches on the Field Is Prohibited

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has warned players to stop wearing smartwatches during play to avoid any allegations of match-fixing, cricket's governing body said on Friday.

Some Pakistan players were seen sporting the devices during the opening day of their first test against England at Lord's on Thursday and were cautioned by an ICC anti-corruption officer.

"Communications devices are prohibited within the player and match officials area. No player is allowed to be in possession of or use a communications device which is connected to the Internet whilst there," the ICC said in a statement.

"Smartwatches in any way connected to a phone or Wi-Fi or in any way capable of receiving communications are not allowed and as such we will be reminding players that such devices must be surrendered along with their mobile devices on arrival at the ground on match days."

Pakistan bowler Hasan Ali was unsure which of his teammates were involved, with British media reports saying two players were wearing the watches but there was no suggestion of any wrongdoing as it was not clear if they were connected to phones.

"I didn't know who was wearing them but yes, the ICC anti-corruption officer came to speak to us and they told us this is not allowed," Hasan said after Pakistan dominated play, bowling England out for 184 before reaching 50 for one at the close.

"Next time nobody will wear them."

Only match officials are allowed specific communication devices to communicate with their colleagues while they perform their duties.

Match-fixing has become a major concern for the ICC in recent years with a high-profile incident involving Pakistan on a previous tour to England forming one of cricket's low points.

Pakistani trio Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir, who is in the current side, were part of a gambling-inspired plot to bowl no-balls at pre-arranged times during a test match against England at Lord's in August 2010.

All three players served time in prison and were handed multi-year bans from the game after a tribunal found them guilty of spot-fixing.
